Museum Support Groups

The museum's volunteer support groups provide support programs and acquisitions for the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, while providing special social and educational opportunities for their members and the public. For information about joining these groups, contact the Museum of New Mexico Foundation at 505/982-6366 ext. 100.

Friends of Indian Art
Friends of Indian Art sponsors special members-only evening events and day trips with renowned Native artists. Membership in Friends of Indian Art costs $100/individual or $150/couple or dual (in addition to the Museum of New Mexico Foundation membership), the groups enjoy special education and social events as well as members-only invitations to popular events.

MIAC Rainmakers
The MIAC Rainmakers raises funds that support exhibitions and programs at the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture. Proceeds from the special tours, exhibition previews, auctions, and sales sponsored by the MIAC Rainmakers help cover the costs of much of the museum's programming. Adventures in Anthropology (AIA), a special committee within the MIAC Rainmakers, sponsors expert-led trips to archaeological and cultural sites.
