Engaging the Future: Goodman Fellows Artist Celebration

Join in recognizing the 2025 Goodman Fellow, Ari Poseyesva and celebrating all the Goodman Fellowship artists. They will discuss their work seen in the JoAnn and Bob Balzer Native Market and Contemporary Art Gallery.
1:00 pm. Welcome and Introductions
1:15 p.m. Recognition of 2025 Goodman Fellowship Recipient Auri Poseyesva and artists in attendance
1:30 p.m. Exhibit walk through/tour with the curator and artists in attendance
2:30 p.m. Reception--refreshments and opportunity to meet and mingle with the artists
Free museum admission for New Mexico Residents
There will be hands-on activities in the Education Classroom associated with Sunday Fun Day, 11am-4pm
The Goodman Fellowship Artists included in the exhibition are: Kalem Aguilar (Santo Domingo Pueblo), Robert Whitehair Begay (Diné), Rapheal Begay (Diné), Jade Calabaza (Santo Domingo Pueblo), Sikuyva Dawavendewa (Hopi), Myron Denetclaw (Diné), Carly Feddersen (Confederate Tribes of Colville Reservations), Duhon James (Diné), Jontay Kahmakoatayo (Plains Cree), Cree LaRance (Hopi/Tewa/Diné/Assiniboine), Terran Last Gun (Piikani Blackfeet), David Naranjo (Santa Clara Pueblo/Okay Owingeh/Cochiti Pueblo), Ethan Nopah (Diné), Jacob Olascoaga (Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska), Triston Noah Pajarito (Santo Domingo Pueblo), Mikayla Patton (Oglala Lakota), Abraham Peina (Zuni Pueblo), Adrian Pinnecoose (Diné/Southern Ute Tribe), and Auri Poseyesva, (Hopi).
